Samantha Smith grew up in a real estate family in Central Texas and is an eighth-generation Texan. Her family’s Texas roots trace back to 1832, when they arrived as part of Stephen F. Austin’s Colony. Since then, generations of her family have been involved in ranching, surveying, appraising, and selling land across the state.
Samantha earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University and began her career working alongside her father as a real estate appraiser. She later continued her appraisal work with Austin, Huckabee and Associates in Abilene, gaining valuable experience and insight into Texas land and property valuation. Her passion for helping people led her to expand into real estate sales, and she joined Ekdahl Real Estate in 2015.
With a deep understanding of local and regional real estate markets, Samantha provides her clients with knowledgeable, personalized service. She combines her background in appraisal with innovative marketing strategies to deliver outstanding results across all property types, including residential, farm and ranch, development, investment, and commercial real estate. Her clients appreciate her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to their goals.
Samantha is an active member of her community and a proud supporter of Anson High School athletics, where her three children have been and continue to be involved in sports, 4-H, and other school activities. She also serves on the Anson Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
Outside of real estate, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, supporting local events, and being part of the strong, close-knit community she proudly calls home.
