Jerry Doty, Real Estate Agent

Born and raised in Abilene, Jerry Doty grew up on a farm in Nugent, where he learned the value of hard work, integrity, and community. Those principles have guided his life and career ever since. A graduate of Lueders High School, Jerry went on to attend Abilene Christian University, earning a degree in Agri-Business that laid the foundation for a lifetime of success in business and real estate.

Before joining Ekdahl Real Estate, Jerry built an impressive 48-year career in sales and management with Luskey’s Western Stores, serving customers across Texas and spending 15 years as a managing partner. His leadership, strong work ethic, and commitment to people helped shape his reputation as a trusted professional with a heart for service.

Today, Jerry brings that same dedication to his real estate clients across the Abilene area and the Big Country. His deep understanding of land, farming, and business allows him to guide clients with honesty, experience, and genuine care, whether they are buying their first home, investing in rural property, or selling a family farm.

Jerry is deeply rooted in his community. He serves on the Executive Board of the West Texas Rehabilitation Center and is a past Board Chairman. A devoted member of the Oldham Lane Church of Christ, Jerry values faith, family, and giving back.

He and his wife, Lottie (Purcell) Doty, have built a wonderful life together, raising two children, Tim and Christi Doty of Tuscola, and Mark Doty of Dallas. They are proud grandparents to two grandsons, Will and Ty. When he is not working with clients or helping on the family farm in Jones and Throckmorton Counties, Jerry enjoys hunting and cheering on his grandsons at their sporting events.

Known for his kind heart, professional integrity, and deep Texas roots, Jerry looks forward to helping clients make their real estate dreams a reality, one honest handshake at a time.
